Pol Rodríguez
His latest work is the series «Ravalear» for HBO, the first Spanish TV series selected for Berlinale, which is scheduled to premiere in 2026. With his first feature film, «Quatretondeta» he won two Biznagas at the Málaga Film Festival. He has also directed episodes of the series «Deudas» and served as second unit director on films such as «Carta a Eva», «Descalzo sobre la tierra roja», and «Don’t Grow Up». He has directed documentary series such as the acclaimed «Match Day» and the documentary series «Year Zero», which was selected for the official Tribeca Film Festival and produced by Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow. Pol Rodriguez co-directed «Segundo premio» with Isaki Lacuesta, which won three Goya Awards, including Best Director in 2025, three Biznaga Awards at the Malaga Film Festival, including the Golden Biznaga for Best Film and the Silver Biznaga for Best Director, and the Gaudí Award for Best Director. It was also Spain’s official submission for the 2025 Oscars.
