Irene Moray

Irene Moray is a director and screenwriter. Her short film «Suc de Síndria», premiered at Berlinale Shorts, won more than 100 festival selections and more than 40 awards, including an EFA nomination and the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film. Her first feature film, «Piel de Foca», is in the financing phase and has been selected for several labs, such as the Spanish Film Academy Residencies programme, the Filmmakers Lab at the Toronto Film Festival and the Torino Script Lab, where she received the Eurimages Co-production Award. Irene has collaborated on several series, directing an episode of «Vida Perfecta» (Leticia Dolera), developing the bible of «La Mesías» (Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo), directing the series «¡Martita!» for Flooxer and most recently a self-conclusive episode of «Asfalt», a series for 3cat. Her latest short film, «Plàncton», was acclaimed along the festival circuit.
