Giselle Llanio

Giselle Llanio, a director and screenwriter born in Havana, has had an extensive career in television. She is set to release «Outono», her first feature film as a director and screenwriter. In 2025, her series «Lume» premiered on HBO, winning the Oliva Audience Award for Best Series at the Ría de Vigo International Series Festival. In 2020, she specialized with a Master’s Degree in Executive Production for Film and Series at ECAM and joined Bambú Producciones to work on the successful «Dos Vidas», nominated for the International Emmy Awards. She has directed numerous series for TVG, standing out on Galician television for her audience ratings. She has been nominated three times for Best Director by the Galician Audiovisual Academy.
