Esteban Crespo
Esteban Crespo is a renowned director and screenwriter with experience in film, television, and advertising. He recently premiered the series «Detective Touré» and «El Silencio», the latter created by Aitor Gabilondo for Netflix. He has the series «La dama del norte» pending release for Netflix. His first feature film, «Amar» (2017), was a huge success on Netflix, allowing him to work again with the platform on his feature film «Black Beach» (2020), starring Raúl Arévalo and Candela Peña, which received six nominations for the Goya Awards. He was nominated for an Oscar and won a Goya with the short film «Aquel no era yo», which won more than 90 international awards. In advertising, «Holograms for freedom» became the most awarded Spanish campaign in history, accumulating 16 lions at Cannes.
