Elia Urquiza
Elia Urquiza is a director from Pamplona based in Los Angeles. She is currently developing a feature film project with award-winning producer Valerie Delpierre (Inicia Films). Recently, she directed three episodes of the Catalan series «Vintage» and an episode of the Portuguese series «Vanda», produced by Legendary TV, La Panda, and SPI. As a screenwriter, she wrote two episodes for the first season of «Minimum Wage» for Paramount+, currently in post-production. In 2019, her short film «BFFS» won the prestigious Women in Film grant. In 2018, she was nominated for an Emmy (Los Angeles section) for her work on the documentary series «Lost L.A.» and in 2015, her feature «Next» won the Special Jury Award at the Málaga Film Festival.
