Diego Núñez Irigoyen is a film and television director. In 2026, his first feature film, «Gracias, equipo», starring Pedro Casablanc, Maribel Verdú, and Alexandra Jiménez, will premiere on Netflix. In 2025, «La vida breve», a historical comedy produced by Zeta Studios for Movistar Plus+ and created by Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor, premiered. The series portrays the brief and turbulent reign of Luis I of Spain. In 2024, he directed the Netflix series «División Palermo», which won the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series, becoming the first Argentine production to receive this honor. The series was also recognized with seven Cóndor de Plata awards from the Argentine Association of Film Critics — including Best Direction and Best Series — as well as the Premio Sur for Best Comedy, awarded by the Argentine Film Academy.
