As a ESCAC graduate, Dani began his career with short films and commercials. He made his film debut with «Barcelona, noche de verano» and its sequel «Barcelona, noche de invierno», beginning a brilliant career in Spanish cinema. Among Dani’s recent works are the second season of the series «La casa nostra» and «A muerte». In 2024, he wrote and directed «Casa en llamas», winner of the Forqué Audience Award, three Feroz Awards (including Best Comedy Feature), and three Gaudí Awards, in addition to eight Goya nominations, solidifying his reputation as one of Spain’s most prolific directors. His other notable works include «42 segundos», «El test», «Loco por ella» and «Mamá o papá». Throughout his career, he has directed box office hits and popular series such as «El mejor verano de mi vida» and the internationally acclaimed Netflix series «Élite», which launched him to fame. Productions like «Hasta que la boda nos separe» confirmed his connection with audiences. He has «El director», his latest feature film, set to release in 2027.
