Carmen López-Areal

Carmen López-Areal is currently developing a new series for Secuoya. Recently, she created and served as head writer for La chica invisible (Disney+) and La partitura secreta, filmed in Mexico. She is also the creator of Reyes contra Santa (Morena Films), a comedy released in theaters in 2022 and now available on Prime Video. In recent years, she has developed several youth series for Disney+, including Alex & Co, Soy Luna, Bia, and Siempre fui yo. Her previous works include films such as Jara, La voz dormida, and Samy y yo, as well as successful TV series like Periodistas and SMS. She began her career directing short films, commercials, and trailers while also teaching courses and seminars.
