Ana Asensio
Ana Asensio is a director, screenwriter, and actress. She began her career as a performer in Spain and later moved to New York, where, in addition to working in independent film and theater, she began to develop her skills as a director. Her debut film, “Most Beautiful Island”, which she wrote, directed, and starred in, won the Grand Jury Prize at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Her second feature film, “La Niña de la Cabra”, for which she also wrote the screenplay, premiered in theaters in Spain and is currently touring international festivals, garnering recognition and awards.
