Luis Almau

Luis Almau is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. In 2026, he composed the soundtrack and original song for «Marfil», the first feature film in the «Enfrentados» duology, directed by Óscar Pedraza for Pokeepsie Films and Prime Video. His soundtrack for «En Fin» includes the original song «Nothing’s the Same», which won Best Song at the Jerry Goldsmith Awards. As a producer, he has been a regular collaborator with Nick Cave and Warren Ellis on numerous albums, soundtracks, and live performances: «Train Dreams» (nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Song), «Wild God» (nominated for two Grammys), and «The Death of Bunny Munro» (nominated for a BAFTA). He also received a third Grammy nomination for Anoushka Shankar’s album «Chapter II».
