Ana Asensio
Ana Asensio is an actress, screenwriter and director from Madrid with a solid international career. After starting her career in Spain, she moved to New York, where she trained at the Herbert Berghof Studio and the Labyrinth Theatre Company, developing much of her work in independent cinema, theatre and television. She has created and starred in several award-winning one-woman shows on the Off-Broadway circuit and gained international recognition with her debut as director, screenwriter and lead actress in the feature film Most Beautiful Island, winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best Fiction Film at SXSW 2017. Her next projects are the film «Entre olas» and the series «Grande de España», set to be released.
