Sandra Romero is a director and screenwriter known for her burgeoning career in film. Her short film, «A Room of One’s Own», premiered at the Seville European Film Festival and has been selected for other international festivals. Her first feature film, «Por donde pasa el silencio», was presented in the New Directors section of the San Sebastián Film Festival after being developed in programs such as Las Residencias de la Academia de Cine, CIMA Impulsa, and Berlinale Talents. The short film of the same name on which it is based won the Silver Biznaga for Best Director at the Málaga Film Festival. Her third short film, «El perro de un torero», premiered at SEMINCI. She co-directed three episodes of the series «Los años nuevos» with Rodrigo Sorogoyen and David Martín de los Santos, which was presented at the Venice Film Festival. Her latest work is the series «Se tiene que morir mucha gente» for Movistar Plus+, co-directed with Victoria Martín and Nacho Pardo, and she has the series «El castillo» co-directed with Elena Martín Gimeno and the second season of «Se tiene que morir mucha gente», pending release.
