Jiajie Yu Yan, director and screenwriter, is currently developing his debut feature film, «Tres Edades», which was selected for the Residencies Program of the Spanish Film Academy and Netflix’s Summer Campus. He directed «Sense Filtres», a TV3 series premiered in 2025. His short films have been selected at over 100 festivals. He has been nominated twice for the Goya Awards, as director and screenwriter of «Xiao Xian» (2020) and as producer of «Chaval» (2023). His latest short film, «Xiao Wei» (2023), won the Movistar Plus+ Short Project Award at the Cinema Jove Festival and was selected at ABYCINE and the Stockholm Film Festival. His work has received the Vimeo Staff Pick seal and has been featured on platforms such as NOWNESS, Booooooom and Directors Notes. In 2021 was selected for the first edition of Spain Stars of Tomorrow by the prestigious British magazine “Screen International”, where he was recognized as one of the 10 emerging talents with the greatest international projection.
