Beatriz de Silva

Beatriz de Silva is a young Spanish director and screenwriter. She recently premiered her first feature film, «Todos los colores», in the Official Out-of-Competition Section at the Málaga Film Festival, and it will be coming to Netflix later this year. Her short film «Tula» was shortlisted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the 2023 Oscars in the Best Live-Action Short Film category, solidifying her international reputation. Throughout her career, she has also directed the fiction short film «Hadas» and the documentary «Lyuba, mañana». With a fresh perspective and a distinctive voice, she is emerging as one of the rising stars of the Spanish film and television industry.
